Raspberry Sangria

Henrik Andersson

Ingredients:

1 bottle (750 ml) dry red wine

8 ounces raspberry liqueur

4 ounces brandy

2 ounces simple syrup (adjust to taste)

8 ounces fresh raspberries

1 orange, sliced

1 lemon, sliced

1 lime, sliced

8 ounces soda water (club soda or sparkling water)

Ice cubes

Directions:

Prepare the Fruit:

Rinse the fresh raspberries and set them aside.

Slice the orange, lemon, and lime into thin rounds, removing any seeds.

Mix the Sangria:

In a large pitcher, combine the red wine, raspberry liqueur, brandy, and simple syrup. Stir well to mix.

Add the Fruit:

Add the fresh raspberries and the slices of orange, lemon, and lime to the pitcher. Stir gently to combine.

Chill:

Cover the pitcher and refrigerate the sangria for at least 2 hours, allowing the flavors to meld together. For best results, let it chill overnight.

Serve:

Just before serving, add the soda water to the pitcher and stir gently.

Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the sangria over the ice, ensuring each glass includes some of the fruit.

Garnish:

Optionally, garnish with additional fresh raspberries or a slice of citrus fruit on the rim of the glass.

Enjoy:

Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing Raspberry Sangria.
