Honey Garlic Pork Chops with Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients:


- 4 boneless pork chops

- 1/3 cup honey

- 1/4 cup soy sauce

- 4 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced

- Salt and pepper to taste

- 4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed

- 1/2 cup milk

- 2 tablespoons butter

- Chopped parsley for garnish


Directions:


Step 1: Marinate

In a bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, minced ginger, salt, and pepper. Marinate the pork chops in this mixture for at least 30 minutes.


Step 2: Cook Pork Chops

Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated pork chops for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.


Step 3: Make Mashed Potatoes

Boil the peeled and cubed potatoes until tender. Drain and mash the potatoes while adding milk, butter, salt, and pepper until desired consistency is reached.


Step 4: Serve

Plate the cooked pork chops alongside a generous serving of mashed potatoes. Drizzle any remaining honey garlic sauce over the pork chops. Garnish with chopped parsley.


Step 5: Enjoy

Serve hot and enjoy this delicious meal!
