The combination of garlic and chili flakes gives the chicken a delightful kick, while the lemon juice adds a refreshing brightness. Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken fillets
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Begin by patting the chicken fillets dry with paper towels and seasoning both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and red chili flakes. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it. Add the seasoned chicken fillets to the skillet and sear for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 75°C). Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the chicken during the last minute of cooking for added flavor. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving. Enjoy your flavorful garlic chili seared chicken fillets!
