Ingredients:
- 1 loaf of French bread
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and place on a baking sheet, cut side up.
3. In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
4. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the French bread.
5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the garlic butter.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley.
8. Slice the garlic bread and serve warm.
